Doug Holtz-Eakin has a distinguished record as an academic, policy adviser, and strategist. Currently he is the President of the American Action Forum and recently was a Commissioner on the Congressionally-chartered Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. Since 2001, he has served in a variety of important policy positions. In 2001 and 2002 he was Chief Economist of the President's Council of Economic Advisers. He was the 6th Director of the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office from 2003 to 2005. During 2007 and 2008 he was Director of Domes3c and Economic Policy for the John McCain presidential campaign.
Len M. Nichols has been the Director of the Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics (CHPRE) and a Professor of Health Policy at George Mason University since March 2010. He has been intimately involved in health reform debates, policy development, and communication with the media and policy makers for 20+ years, after he was Senior Advisor for Health Policy at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in the Clinton Administration.
