Dr. Skootsky is currently Chief Medical Officer of the UCLA Faculty Practice Group and
Medical Group, and also Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at
UCLA. He has been active in CAPG for over a decade. Dr Skootsky's responsibilities at UCLA
include HMO and Medicare Advantage risk contracts for UCLA Medical Group as well as
multiple commercial and governmental ACO contracts. His recent activities include
development of UCLA's Primary Care Innovation Model with the objective of implementing
advanced primary care functions into existing practices as well as health care delivery integration
with closely related specialty services. He is active both in California and nationally with a
focus on care transformation, workforce sustainability, and improved patient experience.
William Borden, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Health Policy at the George Washington University, and the Director of Healthcare Delivery Transformation at the GW Medical Faculty Associates. Dr. Borden leads the Medical Faculty Associates’ quality improvement and population health management programs, including their accountable care organization and other value-based purchasing initiatives.
Maria A. Han, MD, MS is a practicing general internist and primary care physician. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is the Medical Director of Population Health at the University of Michigan Health System and an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Han earned her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine and her Masters in Health Policy and Management from the UCLA School of Public Health. She completed internal medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at UCLA.
Sandhya Rao, MD, is an internist at Women's Health Associates at Mass General and the Medical Director for Quality Improvement at the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO) where she coordinates pay-for-performance initiatives and other quality improvement and incentive projects. She also serves as a Medical Director for Population Health Management for Partners HealthCare, focusing on specialty programs.
Rao earned a bachelor's degree in community health from Brown University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She attended the New York University School of Medicine, and did her residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in partnership with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.
